Global Family Travels offers cultural immersion and service learning tours for families which include a unique mix of cultural and educational activities, home-stays, and participation in local service projects aimed at improving the lives of the communities we visit. Through our three pillars of learn, serve and immerse, our mission is to build cultural bridges and to foster global citizens who will take responsibility for the challenges facing our global community.

LEARN

Global Family Travels’ tours are educational programs which provide participants with a deep understanding of the history and traditions of the community abroad, via pre-trip learning, in-country cultural and historical tours, service learning, homestays and service work with host community schools.

SERVE

Working to better the communities we visit, Global Family Travels will match you and your family’s skills and interests with the volunteer needs and opportunities available in communities we visit. Family members work side-by-side with local community members on a service project and gain new insight and perspectives into the local culture and themselves.

IMMERSE

As part of Global Family Travels’ home-stay program, you and your family will become immersed in the culture of the host community we visit. On some tours, families will have the chance to experience “3 days in the life” of a host family.

Global Family Travels enriching tours offer both the visiting families and host community participants an opportunity to make a difference together and to learn from each other in ways that will open their hearts and minds to a greater awareness that we are all connected. Global Family Travels offers packaged tours or we can customize a tour to fit your family’s needs and interests at a destination of choice.
